Really good picture; I liked all of these guys except for Jihl. Out of the four of them, she seemed the least 'compassionate', but I could understand Raines, Yaag, and Rygdea's circumstances and how they thought.

I have to agree with you. Cid, Yaag, and Rygdea's motivations were all clear and honest, however misguided. They did it for the right reasons. Jill's motivations only ever seemed to serve her own gain, and well we know how that ended up for her.

Yes; you never got an emotional feeling for Jihl, and when she got what she deserved, you didn't feel any remorse for her situation. At least, I didn't. :giggle:
I did get sort of emotional for Cid and Yaag, though. =(

"Because sometimes the villains are actually heroes and heroines."
That quote can make a lot of sense. Cid Raines defied his fate, but was turned into Dysley's puppet, and Yaag Rosch realized his mistake and took a Humbaba behemoth with him to die as atonement.

Yes, absolutely. Glad you thought my quote was an accurate analysis.

Through that quote of yours, maybe I can be safe to say that not all villains are that 'villainous'. Some were just manipulated, used, etc.
