My seventh image in what will be group of images I'm calling: Studio Series. I'm rendering out characters in HD using 3dsMax 2012 and a custom Mental Ray setup. The images are designed to look like the characters showed up to a photoshoot.

I'll answer that question for you, he didn't it's a ripped model judging from the credits in the description.

but there are some programs that can be used for modelling
for the easiest to use is the Milkshape 3D
but for something advanced and free you can use Blender

This is a great render, along with your related facial close up :)

My only criticism would be that the feathers look very washed out - but maybe that's just because of low poly model or texture?
