Edit: Fang is my favorite character. My first render didn't do her justice. I'm hoping you all like this one better.

My first image in what will be group of images I'm calling: Studio Series. I'm rendering out characters in HD using 3dsMax 2012 and a custom Mental Ray setup. The images are designed to look like the characters showed up to a photoshoot.

If you want to see more like this; comment, fave, or watch me. :)

Is Luxrender and 3DS MAX similar to each other?

Oooh excellent, can't wait to see how that turns out. Her spear oh gosh, that'll be an adventure. I might be having to make one in the future as well.
You can always buy her boots, I'd recommend that.

I know, I have the base finished. I want it to be completely functional so its been...interesting. The three part break was easy enough, but all of the stupid bumps on the rod (for lack of a better work >.<) are giving me fits!!! The wood I used for the blades is pretty heavy though O0O…
If you make one post pictures!!! I would love to see the finished product~

I could buy them, but I already bought the material and I can not find a pair of boots with out much of a heel around here…

Did you use oak or pine for the blades? If its heavy you likely used oak, which is good. That stuff is tough as a rock. Eager to see pictures of your spear! I'll be sure to post some of mine when its finished. I should have taken pictures of the boomerang I was commissioned for for Hope before I gave it to the person. It came out pretty similar to yours, with a few painting differences.

If you want to buy them you've got a couple options and I can recommend both, if you don't mind saving your material for something else. You'll just need to swing by Hottopic for the studs. :P
